After a canceled concert back in 2020 and all sort of things happening in between, I am very pleased to come back to a place I keep in my heart, the Granger Homestead in Canandaigua, Upstate New York.
A charming mansion and unique carriage museum, the Granger hosts an original restored Muzio Clementi Grand Pianoforte (1822 - restored by Edward Swenson). On this very instrument I played several concerts and recorded one of them with music of Beethoven and of course, Clementi.
On June 1st, I am going to present a program of women composers, from the 18th to the 19th century, from Marianne von Auenbrugger to Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel. Very much looking forward!
